Kieran Hebden is UK Dance act Four Tet, and "There Is Love in You" is his 5th album. His style is Jazz/Folk-speckled theatrical electronica, and apart from a few repetitive vocal loops (on opening pair of the sublime "Angel Echoes" -with what seems to be album title warbled repeatedly- and the skittery nine minute opus "Love Cry"), it is an album of instrumentals.
The aptly titled "Circling" has a cyclic feel that leaves one almost giddy, "Pablo's Heart" is a brief interlude, while the choppy "Sing" throws in some disembodied-sounding harmonies. "This Unfolds" sets sparkly effects to a funereal pace, while the haunting "Reversing" is reverb-laden.
"Plastic People" is more upbeat with twinkling pianos, as is the truly beautiful "She Just Likes To Fight" (the latter my favourite).
Rich in detail, this is a album that just grows and grows till it engulfs you.
