One of the best albums to wake up to on christmas morning.
From her interpretations of timeless classics like o holy night, to more upbeat, unexpected tunes like Feliz navidad, you will be smiling through this whole album.

When it comes to music boy does she know how to creat a magical Christmias album. The cover is beautiful and the songs are OMG. I'm Your Angel and The Prayer the two singles release are beautiful songs that I just love! Other songs like Happy Xmas (War Is Over), Blue Christmas, These Are The Special Times, Don't Save It All For Christmas Day, her version of O Holy Night as well as The Christmas Song. If you love the holidays and want soulful amazing christmas song get it! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED AT ALL! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! THANKS CELINE DION!

Yes, it's Celine Dion.
I know that people have their negative opinions of Celine, and I have some to as I am only a moderate fan. However, I must say that this album is thoroughly enjoyable. Christmas albums are often dismissed as just a safe piece of product to earn some cash. While this album is pretty safe (like most of Celine's releases), it's supposed to be for enjoyment around the holidays and Christmas albums are supposed to be light. Her voice and her style of music work well for the seasonal genre. Standout tracks include:
"Don't Save It All For Christmas Day" - an original Christmas ballad about showing love all year round, and not just on Christmas.
"Brahm's Lullaby" - a very soothing rendition of this classic lullaby. She sounds very good went her voice is restrained.
"Blue Christmas" - a fantastic jazzy remake of the song made popular by the King, Elvis Presley. I love his version, and Celine does this song justice.
"The Prayer" - This is a duet with Andrea Bocelli. They both have really strong voices yet different musical styles so they compliment each other.
"I'm Your Angel" - This #1 hit isn't a Christmas song, but it fits well with this CD. R. Kelly sounds great, and this unlikely duet is very nice. I'm not surpirsed it was a huge success.
So, I can honestly say that this CD is good. Regardless if you are a big fan or not, I think you will actually enjoy this album. Give it a chance.
