This DVD set is a great gift for any fan of the show. It is great drama and entertainment. The characters are amazing, they bring you into the action and never stop learning how people interact with others and how the police are very proud people and that the paramedics are great caregivers and have difficulty in major catastrophies. The directors and writers of these episodes should be awarded for their work. It is great story-telling and amazing acting.

Purchased this and season 1 for my boyfriend as a gift and I got hooked on it too! Even though I didn't watch the show while it was new, I'm upset it was cancelled. I wish there wasn't such a long period between season releases as season 1 was released a year and a half before season 2 and who knows how long until season 3, etc.
Definitely a good series.

When Third Watch first came out on TV's I remember tuning in religiously every Thursday night to watch it. Then when the series ended we had to wait a very long time for it to be released on DVD. I bought season one last year, and as soon as I heard season two was being released, I ordered it as well. I love this show, it is my absolute all -time favorite!!
