You could no ask for a more sprightly performance of a baroque opera. The recording is demonstration class, to be expected from Linn. The reconstruction is nicely done and the finale is a STUNNER! Highly recommended to lovers of baroque opera. Could be a bit repetitive if you are a Verdi or Wagner fan.
