My 2 year old grandson whom I purchased this for was delighted with it, he loves to do puzzels and this book has several in it, very colourful and entertaining.

Good for a Brief Time,

This puzzle book seems like a great idea and was indeed fabulous when we first got it and for the first few times of taking the puzzle pieces out and then putting them back together. Unfortunately after it has been made a couple of times, the pieces stop fitting into the book very well and start falling out and getting lost or mixed up and then the book kind of loses it appeal. So, it was a short-lived book/experience for us.

Not as good as I thought it would be,

I liked the idea of the puzzles being contained in the book. Also the pieces are color-coded on the back so you can easily identify which pieces go together. On the downside, the pieces are very flimsy, about as thick as three index cards. Underneath the puzzles, the picture is printed on the page making it difficult to see which pieces are in. We had much better luck putting the puzzles together on a table rather than in the book. It's recommended for ages 3 and up, but I think it would be better-suited for a 5 year old mainly because of the thin pieces and the difficulty involved in getting them to stay together in the book.

I like the weight of the pages and it's cool to have a puzzle with every page of the story. However, it's wrapped for Christmas so the 2 1/2 year old has not yet given her review.
