Format:Audio CD
This 3-disc album is a great value, and is chuck full of Joel's classic sound. I enjoyed disc one the most, but the other two didn't really do it for me, except for a couple songs here and there. It's a nice summer album, great for playing in the background, but not as full of the great songs that I expected from Mr. Plaskett. I think his sound is evolving, and I'm not going to compare it to his older stuff, to be fair, this is just not an album that everyone will like. Check it out, and see what you think.

Generally, a solid disc, with JP showing a more intimate side. Some filler material is inevitable, and it does not get too distracting.
While, for me, Plaskett tends to get over-rated in the Canadian scene because he fairly consistently writes catchy, hook-laden, tunes, and he has a certain wholesome image, he DOES show progress artistically, and has a certain joyfulness and innovation that is hard to dispute.
Also, his live shows are great.

Saw him and his father live in Vancouver. Geat Show, great CD, highly recommended. See him live when you get a chance.
