Product Description

In a distant galaxy, the world of Thundera is in crisis. The planet's structure has become unstable and is near collapse. With their destruction imminent, Thundera's denizens--known as the Thundercats--escape in a spaceship and plot a course for a new home. While in transit, the Thundercats are attacked by evil mutants and their craft is irreparably damaged. Jaga, the eldest Thundercat, sacrifices himself in order to pilot the ship safely to its destination: Third Earth.

Excellent DVD set. I watched the T.V. series now my 8 year old son and his cousin are watching. Drawn a lot better than some of today's cartoons. (I am still watching them) Now if they would only put the old Dungeons and Dragons cartoon series on DVD....

I was born in the 80's and as such only ever saw reruns of thundercats. Even so i realized how amazing a show it was and really felt the need to go and buy this dvd set. I was originally worried about animation quality because it was made 20 years ago. I can say i am utterly shocked at the amazing quality of the animation the plot and the acting. I would recommend this dvd set to anyone who enjoys cartoons and is definitley a must buy!

This DVD is long overdue! Finally Thundercats fans are given the respect they deserve! This is the first of Many Boxed sets for the Thundercats series and is a MUST buy! there is confirmation of volume 2 and rumours of the entire set being released by 2006, but Make sure all you other Thundercats fans buy this so that we are guaranteed to see the entire series get released on dvd! it would be such a shame for it to be slumped half way because of poor sales! so all you fans out their remember to do your part! Thundercats HOOOO!!
