My goodness, if I never saw a movie that left me so memorized by the influence of cult zombies, then this was it. I watched it a couple more times and I had forgotten some scenes since I watched it over 25 years back. David, poor exhausting, vulnerable soul just looking to "relax" and get away after his breakup with his girlfriend. Little did he know he would be facing a total mind twisting, brain washing, physical transformation. You just feel for this guy and get slightly intimidated by the cult members and how they slowly work their manipulation. It was great watching a young Kim Cattrall and Robert Joy be so coy and sly yet completely brain washed. I didn't like Saul Rubinek's character. Horrible comedian, but I guess that was the whole point of his role?? Oh yeah, one of the teachers from my highschool had a small, little role in the film too as one of the singers singing Amazing Grace in that circle.
