I was planning on purchasing this game, as I enjoyed last years Tiger Woods, however I have since changed my mind for one reason, expensive DLC.
This year, additional courses will cost 800 points ($10.00), in the previous 2 years, they cost 600 points and in the first Xbox 360 Tiger Woods, the extra courses cost 400 points. Considering that the graphics and gameplay have seen only minor improvements from year to year, I can't understand why EA is charging so much more for extra courses. For this reason alone, I am NOT purchasing Tiger Woods 11.
I've given this game a fun rating of 3 stars. There have been some tweaks to the gameplay, for example when you put spin on your ball, you're limited with how much spin you can use on each hole (do I waste all my spin on this shot, or save some for the next shot). The improvements seem to make the game a bit more competitive in terms of multiplayer. I'm basing this on my time with the demo. However, i'm giving the overall game a rating 1 star due to the increase in DLC prices and also the real lack of a need for yet another Tiger Woods game. Personally, I think EA should release these games every second year, and put more effort in releasing DLC within those 2 years and at reasonable prices. 400 points ($5.00) for a new course would be reasonable, not 800 points!
