The author has produced a handy little book for the visitor to Eritrea; I picked this up in a book shop in Asmara and was able to start using words then short sentences with confidence after only a short time. Some words in Tigrinya can be difficult for the Westerner to get right, however you will always find a helpful local willing to assist you with the finer points.

Handy size to carry in a pocket or bag. It gives the basics for the newcomer to start with. Kwer ida!
