Her Promise

Some men were just unforgettable. And Adam Caldwell was never far from Tory Marlowe's thoughts. Now that she was back in town, Tory hoped that their one magical night might help Adam remember her . . . and help her fulfill a promise made.

His Secret

Adam wasn't sure he wanted Tory prying into his life, trying to dig up a past that haunted him. But as much as he tried, he soon found himself once again enchanted with her pure heart and unwavering faith. Could Tory's love help Adam open his own heart once more to God . . . and love?

3.0 out of 5 stars too formulaic, Feb 4 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: A Time to Forgive (Mass Market Paperback)
I just couldn't get into this book, its too formulaic. The main female character wants to help, the guy is resentful, and tries to push her away, etc. I've seen it before in other books, but if you don't mind the formulaic premise, then you might want to check this out.

3.0 out of 5 stars Sleeping potion in some ways...a little bit of excitement in others, Feb 6 2012
By M. Palmer "Michelle P." - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: A Time to Forgive (Mass Market Paperback)
Of the three books thus far, I'd say this is the least interesting. I didn't connect with the couple at all and I'm not sure exactly what connected them together. I didn't even get the feeling she connected with the daughter, and that must happen for a marriage to work. These three books have only been months, and two are married and the third engaged. I think the author's trying to test the divorce statistic in marriages...Of all three, I'd say this one would be the one to fail. I just don't buy it.

This most interesting part is the mystery surrounding the dolphin. I think I know where it is, but I'm going to hold my comments until I read the last book...

Forgettable story about a very wealthy man, Adam Caldwell, who reunites with a summer love, Tory Marlowe, on a small island.
