Product Description

Album Description

Limited deluxe edition includes four bonus tracks. 2011 album from the Mississippi Hard Rock heroes. Time Of My Life is an exhilarating, pivotal album from a band bred to exceed expectations every time they step in to the studio. Aptly titled, 3 Doors Down's fifth career studio effort soars on the collective ethos of a dedicated band doing what they were destined to do. It's precisely the intersecting nature of each member's contribution that resonates the most on Time Of My Life; the relative ease with which this band, full-tilt into the middle of its second decade, methodically keeps it's working parts in order.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well written, rockin' songs!, July 19 2011
By Polar Bear - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Time Of My Life (Deluxe) (Audio CD)
"Time of My Life" is the 5th album from 3 Doors Down and their first in 3 years. From beginning to end, this is an amazing collection of songs. The production is fresh and crisp, the lyrics are well written, the musicianship is awesome, and the vocals of Brad Arnold sound phenomenal. The cool thing about this is it shows a clear growth and evolution of the band while still maintaining their unique sound and ability to write great songs. Things get started with the title track, a high energy hurricane of pounding guitar riffs and effects that deliver with a sonic boom. "When You're Young" has a catchy melody with strong vocal hooks that draw you right in. "Round and Round" is a blend of guitars and bass that features Matt Roberts absolutely shredding the guitar. "Back To Me" is a power ballad that showcases Arnold's talents as a singer. He sings some amazing melodies that only a few people could pull off, and the result is pure bliss. The album closes with "Believer," a rocking, punk-influenced song that will leave you breathless and asking for more. Overall this is a solid rock/alternative album that any fan of the genre will love. If you liked their earlier music you'll love this one!

5.0 out of 5 stars 3 Doors Down Does It Again!!!, July 22 2011
By TigerGirl63 - Published on Amazon.com
I have been a big fan of this group since their debut & they still sound great. I like the fact that every one of their albums has a different sound and feel to it. Time of My Life is no exception. From the power ballad, Back To Me, to the energetic track Believer, this album has a little bit of everything for the music lover in you. If you're a big fan of these guys, I highly recommend this album. You won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Southern band at its best..., Mar 23 2012
By Ann - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Time Of My Life (Deluxe) (Audio CD)
The deluxe version, Brad Arnold and the band at its best. These southern boys are one of my fav bands. All of their music is great but this CD seems a bit more polished. "Time of My Life" is a great start with "Round and Round, "Race for the Sun" "Every Time You Go" (both versions), "On the Run", "She Is Love", "Believer" and "Silence Remains" being my personal fav's with the rest close behind. There are a few acoustic repeats near the end and "Train" the last track is not new as it's appeared on a previous CD. As far as I can tell both versions of "Train" sound the same. All definitely worth a listen and IMO a keeper.
