Review

"A light and lively time-travel romance . . . the delightful mix of a modern heroine and Regency rogue make for great fun..." -- Romtantic Times Magazine, March, 2000

Book Description

If a time travel agency appeared in your neighborhood, when would you go to? When Arden St. Clare came upon Any Time, Any Place while walking home, she arranged a trip to Regency England. "To Tame A Rogue" tells the story of Arden's voyage through time from the present to 1816. Among other things, she saves a kidnapped duke, meets one of her ancestors, and untames a tamed rake.

From the Author

Living in the French Quarter inspired me to write a time travel romance. The Quarter is filled with romance and history. Walking home from work can be an adventure if you live on Royal Street. In "To Tame A Rogue", Arden St. Clare's adventure begins when she sees a new shop on Royal Street, a shop that turns out to be a time travel agency.

From the Inside Flap

A LADY OUT OF TIME

When Arden St. Clare entlisted the services of the Any Time, Any Place travel agency to help her plan the vacation of her fantasies, she never dreamed she would actually be transported back to charming Regency England. Arden is thrilled to be attending a London Season, but trouble follows when she arrives just in time to save a young Duke from the hands of kidnappers. Almack's and the glittering ton must wait while she's thrust into a daring plot that will place her fate in the hands of a notorious rogue who hires her as governess to the rescued boy.

A GENTLEMAN WITH NO TIME TO LOSE

Harsh and cynical from the rigors of war, Captain Royce Warrick is preparing to marry his betrothed and tend his estates. But someone is plotting to murder his young ward and suddenly, out of nowhere, appears a beautiful stranger playing havoc with his sensibilities and his passions. Though he's not quite sure if the mysterious Arden is friend or foe, he's drawn to her in ways he cannot deny. And only time will tell if this most unusual woman will be his to claim forever . . .
