5.0 out of 5 stars Cool...! Nov 25 2012
I have seen several episodes of the Tomb Detectives currently being aired on TV.
They are interested and cover many areas where such mummies are found. Ranging from the dry and arid desert of South America to the famous Bog Mummies of Sweden. I just hope that what I have ordered would turn out to be just as interesting. Remember: No two viewers agreed with the same and just take it from there. I trust that the producers will not disappoint us in this respects. Cheers!

This DVD had several segments; all were excellent and dealt with different aspects of mummies discovered in different parts of the world. Extremely well done! I hope there are more to come; I will buy them.

3.0 out of 5 stars Better than no documentaries at all......but..... July 12 2009

Title and description sound better than the actual show. As with many of the Smithsonian Channel shows, this is fluff. Very superficial treatment of what should have been a very interesting topic. Are these shows produced for children? If so, I guess they would be somewhat adequate.
