Book Description

It's not only Julia's professional acumen that has men quaking in their shoes - she also has a taste for keeping men in line after office hours. With an impressive collection of whips and high heels to her name, she sure has some kinky ways of showing affection. But Julia's been searching all her life for a man who won't be tamed too quickly - and when she meets rugged dude rancher Zach on a business get-together in Montana, she thinks she might have found him. He may be a simple countryman, but he's not about to take any nonsense from uppity city women like Julia. Zach's full of surprises: where she thinks he's tough, he turns out to be gentle; when she's confident she's got this particular cowboy broken in, he turns the tables on her. Underneath the big sky of Montana, has the steely Ms Mueller finally met her match?

3.0 out of 5 stars It was ok... Feb 3 2013

I found that this book was just ok. It didn't really wow me like I thought that it would. I liked the setting of the book, and the story line for the most part but the sex was just a bit over done. At times that is all that there was to it. Half way through the book I started to find it hard to stay interested. But the ending was a nice finish.
I have read other books by Emma Holly and just didn't find this one to be one of her best.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous Erotica Aug 27 2001
By Jenn
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Emma Holly amanages to balance plot, characterization and seriously hot erotic sex, all without dropping the ball on a single one. The author manages to show the growth of Julia, a life-time dominatrix and the growth of the other characters, none of which remains static. Everyone changes, everyone moves. Julia's cowboy is a complicated man, who shows Julia the power of sex not from a dom/sub view, but as equal partners. Definiately read this one.

This book was recommended to me by a friend and I read it all in one sitting. I haven't read that much erotica but I can tell this is one of the best, I'd recommend it to anybody.

4.0 out of 5 stars Rather delicious
It is a sexy story with a wonderful heroine. I did not like some of the sharp changes in behavior in the rest of the managment team... But that is why it is only four stars.
