Entertaining,
This review is from: A Total Waste of Makeup (Paperback)
This a funny chic lit book. It is well written and captivating. Whether young or old I think women can identify with this character as we have all been there at one point or another. I just don't think the swearing in the book is necessary. Would have been just as good without it.A Total Waste of Makeup

Laugh out loud!,
By K. McLean "Anti-chick Lit Girl" (Vancouver, British Columbia Canada) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: A Total Waste of Makeup (Paperback)
I am not a "chick-lit" reader. At all. I happened to see this book on sale and bought it on a whim. I should act on my whims more often. This is a witty, charming and truly entertaining read. I loved every minute of it. I found myself laughing out loud throughout the book...running into the other room every five minutes to let my roommate in on the joke. I think she hates me now (but she'll read the book, so my job is done!). Definitely buy this book. You won't regret it.

I read Miserry Loves Caberet first not knowing that these books were linked together. I wish I would have known that first. So I read the 2nd book first and the first book second lol..But I did enjoy them both. My favorite character of the book has to be the boss of Charlie..These are amazing reads I recommend them both. Hoping they come out with another one soon :)If you like Sophie Kinsella and Candice Bunshnell then you will love these :)
