This book, is, indeed, a collection of Sookie Stackhouse short stories. (See front cover of the book) The stories fill in some background that is left out in the novels. They are delightful, and a must for any fan.

I have enjoyed reading the Sookie Stackhouse series. Most were a fun read and looking forward to #13 read it will be the last.
