About the Author

Beth Rothenberg has been using Systematic T.O.U.C.H. Training to successfully train her clients since she first became a personal fitness trainer more than 20 years ago. She has shared STT with leading coaches, trainers, and elite athletes, and has used the technique to help train visually-impaired teenagers at the Braille Institute.

Beth lectures nationally to fitness professionals on training techniques and motivation. She is an instructor for the award-winning UCLA Extension Fitness Instructor Certificate Program and for the Advanced Specialty Certificate Program for personal fitness trainers. She is also certified as a health/fitness instructor by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).

Oscar Rothenberg is an attorney who has specialized in the medical/legal field for 30 years. He lectures on legal and ethical issues pertaining to fitness professionals and was a member of the first item writing committee for the American Council on Exercise Personal Trainer Certification Exam. As co-author of Touch Training for Strength, he was instrumental in organizing and systematizing the method of Systematic T.O.U.C.H. Training.

The Rothenbergs live in Santa Monica, California. They spend most of their leisure time enjoying their secluded mountain retreat in northern California.
