I'm A Diabetic May 21 2009
By J. Tangorre - Published on Amazon.com
I had recently found out I was a Type II Diabetic and I am being treated with medication. Touched By Diabetes is a book for families and their children to understand the disease. The author, Lucie Ventura is amazing in her dedication and knowledge and applying that to a book that be read, understood and applied to both the young and old. Nice Job Lucie.

This book is a wonderful way for any adult or teacher to read to children. It explains in detail what and how to live with diabetes. It is kid friendly and an easy read with lots of information and some great recipies. I would highly recommend this book.

Don't waste your money Dec 8 2009
By Fred Davis - Published on Amazon.com
Having read many books on diabetes, I was disappointed in the information in this book. As a diabetes educator I found most of the information simplistic and inaccurate. Further more on researching the author's background, I found she has no or very little expertise on the subject matter.

Was this written by a child? Dec 5 2009

Obviously written by a rookie with little real knowledge on the topic. Don't waste your money!
