Use of the book for helping others,
By
This review is from: A Touching Good-Bye: The Gentle Use of Jin Shin Jyutsu at Times of Critical Illness and Death (Paperback)
Jin Shin Jyutsu is a gentle way of helping others through touch. I have recently used the book for myself in working with families and residents of Hospice. I also have introduced the book as well as Jin Shin Jyutsu to some staff and volunteers to be able to also offer this feeling of touch to families. It is easy to read, and her photographs demonstrating the holds are extremely helpful for those with limited or no experience.

What a gift. The information in this little book is for use in our lives and others not just in times of critical illness or death. I have not had the opportunity to use it in those specific circumstances as yet but I am heartened to know of it's existence. Until such time of crises, I plan on practicing and experimenting with this process so beautifully described by Ms Andry. I am finding myself drawn to the techniques used here more and more for my everyday use. Such a simple thing: gently holding your thumb to relax when you are worried. Thank you so much for all your work to produce this lovely little book.
