My 4 year old and I saw this game in our local electronics store and decided to give it a go. We got home, popped it in the Wii and selected the "free play" option to just try out some of the different games. To my surprise there was only one game available to play and it was a pointless practice game. After reading the manual I saw that you have to play the "story mode" and win every game to be able to unlock it so that you can play it later. I find that ridiculous for a kids game. I paid full price for my kid to be able to play the full game. Don't get me wrong, winning the games was easy but only because I was with her. Otherwise she would have to repeat a game over and over until she earned enough points. We finally made it through all the games and now she can pick and choose the ones she wants to play and she loves it. I have never been a fan of unlockable base content. If this was extra stuff then fine but to make us jump through hoops to play content that should be available right away is frustrating.
