great book- wrong title!,
This review is from: Traditional Bowyer's Encyclopedia: The Complete Guide to Bow Making (Paperback)
I know I have too many books on bows, archery, and bow making but I felt I should add this one to my collection anyways. This book was not what I was expecting, infact, the title is missleading. Traditional Bowyer's Encyclopedia: The complete guide to Bow makers would have been far more accurate. Yes, there is a ton of info in this book about building bows, but it is not a how to book which I felt the title was leaning to. I did find this book was well written and it should be a must read for anyone interested in the subject, but, if you wish to read a "how to" book I suggest the Traditional Bowyers Bible series.

This review is from: Traditional Bowyer's Encyclopedia: The Complete Guide to Bow Making (Paperback)
This book is a follow up to the Series Bower's Bible. It is a handy referance to the history of bows and their manufacture that produced them. It is not as much instructional material as in the other books, but still complets the series.
