Recorded at the Castle Studios and Soundstage Studios in Nashville, Trail In Life includes performances by Nashville A-listers Tom Bukovac, J.T. Corenflos and Glenn Worf. As well as members of Brody's touring band, and channels some of Brody's best loved, long-time country influences; Dwight Yoakam, Randy Travis and Alan Jackson among them.

I haven't heard a country CD like this in a long time, I highly recommend this CD, I don't find distortion on my CD. I love the song Trail in Life. This has been the best CD I have heard since my Zac Brown CD The Foundation.

Hello from France,Dean Brody is a very talented young canadian artist, I love his music, the melodies, the sound, he's not in the pop mainstream, he's traditional, but modern. Trail in life is his sophomore album, better than the previous one. But I'm very disappointed about the CD sound quality, sometimes I can hear some distorsion, on several tracks the sound is really bad. I sent an e-mail to his label company about this topic,but of course at this time no answer. Have a good day. Phil

This is Dean's 2nd cd. This cd has well placed country songs.(Mostly written by him).Dean reminds me of Trent Willmon,which is also an excellent country singer. If you are looking for 'back porch swinging' country,then Dean is your man.Also check out Dean's first cd. Very well done.

Just finished listening to all tracks from this album and everyone is a gem.Dean is true to his style and even though all the songs are different,if you like one then you will like the lot.I can't pick a favorite as I like them all.If you like this album you will like his self titled album as well with similar song types.
