As with the other Trailblazer books, this one doesn't disappoint. Very easily read aloud - my 12 - 14 year-olds can sit still for an hour and listen to it being read. From the perspective of a 13 year old, these events from history are related in a way that brings them to life and makes them memorable. The authors explain ahead of the sections which parts are fictionalized, so these are definitely useful both for fun and for educational purposes.
