Book Description

May 27 2009 Transformers
The official adaptation of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen picks up directly where the Destiny movie prequels leave off - the Transformers' brutal war continues on Earth as the noble Autobots work with their human allies to end the threat of the treacherous Decepticons. But the return of an ultimate evil may prove to be too much for our heroes. Penned by Transformers mainstay Simon Furman with art by Jon Davis-Hunt (Judge Dredd Megazine).

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Bad June 27 2009
By D. Kemp
This follows the movie pretty well. Some events are in accurate as at the time of creation, the final version of the script was not released. Two things really bug me tho. One, scale of the characters compared to each other in certain scenes are in correct and the vehicle modes of these characters are incorrect too. Second, a lot of the art is drawn from existing still shots and are not uniquely drawn. It's like taking stills of the movie and tracing them, but in this case, concept art was used.

4.0 out of 5 stars About time. June 12 2009
By Richard Petsch - Published on
What a surprise to see so many different transformers in this story. This story was fantastic in that the scope of it surpasses the first story by light years. Everything that makes a transformer story is in here. Thank you for doing that. Comic books don't always show the whole story of what the movie is. This one does. Will a third transformers movie be coming? I can't wait. Well actually I can. Look forward to seeing the movie.
