laking Aug. 6 2007
By Y. L. Lawson - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
the movie was great but this movie adaptation was laking in substance and style. the prequel had a good build up for the film, i guess with simon furman on board it was always going to be good, but this offering left me thinking it could have been so much more. read the movie prequel, see the movie, then if you want more transformer action read THE WAR WITHIN, INFILTRATION and ESCALATION.

Nice comic but far from the movie July 3 2007
By Alessandro De Vescovi - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I've seen the movie and this isn't it, characters are far from the original and the plot is taken from a sinopsis of the movie. To say the truth I think they took the robot production models, the sinopsis and wrote a story of their own. The movie is great, the comic not.

On the other hand the prequel comic is amazing and fits nicely in the movie continuity.

I love this movie. I play it so often I'm afraid I'm going to wear out the disc. :) Thanks.

Horrible book Sept. 6 2007
By Bumblebug - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Written based on an early draft of the movie, this book is all about the HUMANS and though it is written by the same author who did the awesome prequel, it just doesn't deliver. One has to wonder if he was in a rush or if he wasn't provided good enough material. Anyway, get the prequel instead. We still have to deal with lots of boring human government activities, but there is a lot of character development for the Autobots as well, even more than the movie itself, in my opinion.
