4.0 out of 5 stars The standard, Jun 9 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Trauma (Hardcover)
This textbook should be the standard for any surgeon taking care of trauma patients. Some of the graphics are poorly reproduced and dated, but the information is current and well presented.

5.0 out of 5 stars the trauma bible, Mar 28 2009
By Roy Hobbs - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Trauma (Hardcover)
This is the most recent edition of the Trauma textbook and is essentially the gold-standard for the care of trauma patients and trauma-related problems. Having owned prior editions as well, I can't say that you need to rush out and upgrade with each new edition (like most textbooks), though this book is a must for anyone who is involved in trauma care.

4.0 out of 5 stars Classic text, Dec 18 2005
By Danny A. Sherwinter "sad10" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Trauma (Hardcover)
Have read last two editions they keep getting better but unlike other texts that get morte in depth with each edition, this book is pretty superficial which is great for a resident but wears thin as an attending.
