I own the previous edition of this book and have seen during our travels other travellers who have this edition. We have travelled through Mexico three times with small children and call this book "Our Bible". The book is very informative about the boarder crossings and what to expect. Depending on road conditions and stops, you cannot always rely on the time estimation, however, directions, things to look out for when your turn is coming (such as kilometer marker signs and Penmax gas station numbers) made it invaluable. Sometimes, this book gave us better directions than our GPS. The GPS was wrong, not the book.
