What's up Murray?, Nov 14 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Treed Murray (DVD)
I happen to see this movie quite by accident, and am glad I did. Its not an action movie, or comedy, although there are some funny parts. There are some serious issues in this movie, and the best part, like real life everything does not get resolved at the end of the movie. It leaves you thinking and pondering both how you would have handled this situation, but it also opens your eyes to look past yourself. Murray learns a lot, about himself and about a group of youth, one guy in particular. The youth learn something as well. Lessons are learned at a great cost. A good movie to watch if you work with young people.

Simple but deep., Nov 23 2007
This review is from: Treed Murray (DVD)
What an interesting tale! Six actors, a tree and a picnic bench make up 98% of the story and yet the emotional wrangler you go through as you watch the story progress trying to figure out who is the bad guy; who holds the power; who will give in first. It is ultimately a very human story of good and evil, humor, pain and redemption and will keep you puzzled until the final scene. This small story will stick in the memory long after the blockbusters are forgotten.

A thrilling movie, Feb 11 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Treed Murray (DVD)
We got the only copy in the local BB on VHS only and really enjoyed. My wife enjoys getting involved in a movie and was yelling at the screen at some of more tense points. Very Canadian...but in a good way not bad...production value was good. A real gem that has not been widely available in video stores. Made my top 10 for 2002
