I have read the other reviews and found that this item works fine. As with any compressed spray item you require an empty space in the container to create pressure to move the product up the spray line to the nozzle. Fill the tank about 1/3 full of oil or whatever product you are using to allow the air space to compress the propellant (air in this case), pump several times and it should be fine. All commercially filled areosol tanks are not full of liquid, mostly a compressed gaseous propellant to move the product up the spray tube.
Mine works great when used like I have stated above, just do not put any more than 1/3 full of liquid.

It's nice to be able to use olive oil for cooking and baking instead of an aerosol like Pam. Drawbacks are - it has to be held in the upright position to get a spray, if not it will come out in a stream. Also doesn't hold the pressure very long. But in spite of these points, I use it all the time.

Tired of paying for expensive Pam or store canola cooking spray? Why not use this instead. Works great! Can use all types of oils not just canola oil. I use grape seed oil. This can is refillable with any oil you want to use. just pour in the oil you want to use and pump up the internal pressure and spray. Great money saver and you can use olive, peanut, sunflower oils as well as canola! Highly recommended!!

Oil Spray Pump
Very nice quality. This is great for using the oil of your choice to make your own non stick spray. We are using roasted garlic olive oil at the moment-very nice.

WISH IT SPRAYED LONGER!
This Oil Sprayer is OK - my one disappointment is that after pumping it, it doesn't spray for more than a few seconds, so you have to keep pumping it to keep spraying. Read more
