4.0 out of 5 stars Great story May 6 2012
By Sam Brown - Published on Amazon.com

I really liked this love story between Claire & Kevin. I love books that take place in small towns. This is one of them, but doesn't have too many neighbors your introduced to all at once, like some books. This story is about Kevin, a very hard working man, who works as manager of the general hardware store who takes one class a week to try to get through collage and of course has been hurt in the past by love. In comes Claire, a spoiled very rich girl who is trying to make it all on her own without her daddys decisions and money that go with it. The story is about them finding love in someone they never thought they could be with. Claire takes a job at the general store with Kevin and the rest you will have to read.

This book has some humor, I found myself laughing quite a few times. In my opinion it was a little slow with the passion between Claire & Kevin, but I wasn't bored. It was a great story. I would recommend to anyone to read.

3.0 out of 5 stars Sweet Romance... Aug. 24 2012

Trust in me is a sweet romantic story with likeable characters. I found the storyline a little predictable and the inner dialogue of the characters a bit annoying but I felt myself drawn into the story anyway. I think because this is a simple, lovely story (quite different to a lot of writing out there!) it was a pleasant quick read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good story! May 24 2012

I thought the story was well thought out and written. Though it was almost predictable; there were things I didn't see coming (which I'm not going to spoil!). The love scenes are steamy but not overkill. A great easy to read love story in a small town. I was glad that there weren't too many characters thrown in, which can be sometimes confusing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable book May 7 2012

I enjoyed reading about Kevin and Claire and recommend it for others. This was a good book where people had principles and simply enjoyed life. The setting for the book perfect and it had a good storyline. I did have a problem with the resolution to the conflict; to me it seemed to be somewhat abrupt.

***Spoiler......My complaint-I could not accept Jake getting beat up the way he did; couldn't go for the 30 year old man standing there, or laying there as it ends up, taking the beating from the 17 or 18 year old kid until he becomes unconscious.

Short story truly worth reading. It's about finding independence, financial freedom, friendships, acceptance, true love & so much more. Surprising coming from such a small story. Some could day predictable, yes. But, for that matter isn't all our lives when we first start out its the the decisions we choose make along the way that count. This small love story gives you that & much move.
