Product Description

Review

"The work does not fall prey to steroetypical conventions, for it is an innovative and intelligent piece. The dialogue is authentic and accurately reflects that of each character. The plot is potent and sophisticated and appropriate metaphors, as well as striking visual imagery lend to the strength of the work." -- American Literary Press

So many of the experiences in the book are similar or identical to the experiences of church rebuilders since 1996. Because of careful research and skillful writing, the book is almost always true to the church rebuilding experiences shared by our projects. -- Harold B. Confer, Director QWI and veteran church rebuilding project director

From the Publisher

Peter Daddone writes about the humanistic side of an issue that has literally been by passed by the American Press; the church burnings. Daddone's novel is important because it exposes the elements that make us all human; faith heals all wounds.

5.0 out of 5 stars Peter Daddone is a FANTASTIC teacher, April 26 2002
By vibeka&chloe - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Tug of War: A Triumph of Faith (Paperback)
Mr. Daddone is an English teacher for our 9th grade class. He is an excellent teacher, as well as an excellent writer. He has taught us a lot about writing, and our writing skills have vasty improved since we were enrolled in his class at the beginning of the year. We recommend that you buy this book, because the solid skills he has taught us are reflected in his novel of great moral value, Tug of War. Thank you, Vibeka & Chloe.
*He has two kids now and has relocated to Rockville, Maryland

5.0 out of 5 stars Get a hold of Mike Ock and Ben Dover!, May 5 2006

This review is from: Tug of War: A Triumph of Faith (Paperback)
peter daddone is a master debater and a cunning linguist. every sentence in this book makes me quiver with anticipation. daddone had a little trouble developing the rising action, but it left me satisfied overall. once i reached the climax i didn't want it to end! he is the truly the most impressive Peter I have ever encountered. my friend Mike loved it... Peter Daddone HAS to get ahold of Mike Ock. he was incredibly stimulated. I would also love to see him -Ben Dover
