An archivist, Stella Auld, is trying to put together an exhibition of Dundee in the '60s and '70s. She uncovers a manuscript in someone's attic, and, enthralled by what she reads, attempts to trace the people who inspired the characters. But her search is soon undermined by false trails and lies.
About the Author
Andrew Murray Scott is a journalist, writer and lecturer in creative writing. He is the author of several non-fiction works, including a biography of Alexander Trocchi -
The Making of the Monster, and is the editor of
Invisible Insurrection of a Million Minds: a Trocchi Reader. Tumulus, which won the Dundee Book Prize in April 1999, is his first work of fiction.
