1.0 out of 5 stars POOR QUALITY OF SOUND Nov. 18 2003
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
I have listened to the music on this CD and I find it very poor quality in terms of sound. The sound is poor and some of the songs are not started properly. The songs in the CD is a mixture from different islands. But I would suggest that its better of if the album is made up from island but not selected and from there you can distinguish how the islands differs the way they sing their song.

A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
They're sinking! Due to global warming (an issue that is ignored by the Bush Administration), in 2003 the highest point of the island chain was 5 meters above sea level; now in 2004, the highest point is only 4 meters above sea level. The 11,500 inhabitants of this culture-rich society are drowning because of YOUR ignorance and refusal to walk across the street or recycle the soda can--because of the coke bottles YOU leave on the sidewalk next to YOUR Hummer, the people of the islands of Tuvalu will be forced to evacuate. Can you handle that on your conscience?

This CD is a wonderful sample of their rich (but soggy) culture. Listen to the throaty, deep music of a people who are struggling in today's large, landlocked economy.

Don't let this culture wash away with the tides...literally. Buy this CD, and for heaven's sakes, carpool to soccer practice. In a hybrid. Or just walk. Builds character.

Good CD.
