This review is from: The Twilight Zone Scripts of Jerry Sohl (Paperback)
BearManor Media presents "THE TWILIGHT ZONE SCRIPTS OF JERRY SOHL" (Paperback), by Jerry Sohl (Author), Christopher Conlon (Editor) & George Clayton Johnson (Afterword) --- Jerry Sohl was a scriptwriter for "The Twilight Zone" (as a ghostwriter for Charles Beaumont) --- Sohl also penned episodes of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents", "The Outer Limits", "Star Trek" and "The Invaders" --- Now with this collection, Jerry Sohl's name can finally be added to the distinguished "Twilight Zone" bookshelf, proudly alongside the likes of Rod Serling, Richard Matheson, George Clayton Johnson, Earl Hamner and Charles Beaumont.

Listed below is "The Twilight Zone Scripts" which Jerry Sohl was responsible for writing --- The title, program year, director and actor with synopsis

1. "Twilight Zone" The New Exhibit (April 4, 1963) -- John Brahm [Director] - Why does a caretaker Martin Balsam who walks around talking to the wax figures and seems to believe they are real.

2. "Twilight Zone" Living Doll (November 1, 1963) -- Richard C. Sarafian [Director] - What lies ahead for Telly Savalas as a frustrated father who is battling with his stepdaughter's talking doll, whose vocabulary includes such phrases as "I hate you" and "I'm going to kill you".

3. "Twilight Zone" Queen of the Nile (March 6, 1964) -- John Brahm [Director] - Ann Blyth's performance as an ageless movie queen who has played Cleopatra in both the silent and sound versions of the story, but how does she stay so young.

From Jerry Sohl's own words - "Good writing is in the eye and the mind of the writer and reader" --- Editor Christopher Conlon goes on to say "These scripts, all examples of very good writing, will live in the eye and the mind of everyone who reads them. Now at last, we can celebrate the wonderful mind that truly wrote them" --- This collection of scripts will fit nicely in the family room with all of the films, music and books on the subject --- Big thanks to Ben Ohmart and his staff at BearManor Media, for bringing the three scripts to the attention of all the fans of "The Twilight Zone" to enjoy as they were meant to be --- Reading the scripts was fun and passed them around to my family who also enjoyed the series --- Ah, what fond memories we have of those wonderful Twilight Zone years.
