pretty decent entry in the suspense/horror genre (3.5/5), Oct 13 2007
this movie is a pretty decent entry in the suspense genre.it reminds me
of a few other movies, one of which is called Someone is Watching Me.i
mention this movie because both can be found in the box set entitled
Twisted Terror collection, along with four other suspense an/or horror
movies.i enjoyed this movie more however,as i feel it is better paced
and more eerie and suspenseful.i also really like the music.it really
set the tone for the movie.as far as i can tell, this movie marks the
feature film debut of Jennifer Jason Leigh.it isn't a huge role, but she
is impressive in the screen time she is given.Lauren Tewes (from
Loveboat fame) is really the main character and is actually very
credible in a serious role.this movie made me uneasy and had me on edge
throughout.for me,Eyes of a Stranger is a 3.5/5

Not great, but still pretty good., Mar 18 2012
This review is from: Twisted Terror Collection - Deadly Friend / Dr. Giggles / Eyes of a Stranger / From Beyond the Grave / The Hand / Someone's Watching Me (DVD)
Great buy for what you get in set.
Still have not watched "Deadly Friend" of "The Hand" but I'm guessing they will both fair the same as the rest below.
Here are my ratings for each film excluding those above;
Someone to Watch Over Me - 3/5
Eyes of a Stranger - 3/5
From Beyond the Grave - 3/5
Dr. Giggles - 2/5 (or 4/10, which ever ya like)
Thats all for now.

Enjoyable Slasher Flick, April 16 2002
Hadn't heard of this one until I noticed that Tarantino screened it at one of his film festivals. It's got Lauren Tewes(Julie from the LOVE BOAT) and Jennifer Jason Leigh. It's really quite suspenseful in parts. Tom Savini worked on the make-up effects(I would imagine that this is what drew Tarantino to the film in the first place). For the slasher film fan that's hiding in all of us......
