This game.... This game has not aged well at all. It was fun when it came out but now? Well....
The Game looks... um.... Dated, but that's not the games fault, they just haven't aged well. They don't look bad at least...
This is the Interesting part, This series kept getting better and better, but here I am looking at its progenitor, the first game. The gameplay was fun (Back when It was Released) it's Different from other open-word games. Although I found that Climbing was a Little on the slow side.
The controls here are different, good.... but different. Basically the face buttons act as "Low Profile" actions whilst holding the Shoulder button and pressing the same buttons act as "High Profile" Moves ( EXAMPLE: B/O would just be a push but Holding the Shoulder button AND pressing B/O would grab and throw someone)
The story is intriguing. The story follows Desmond Miles, A bartender who was recently kidnapped by Pharmaceutical company Abstergo , who reveal that the have some sinister intentions. A scientist hooks you up to a machine called the Animus, A machine capable of reliving an ancestors past. Abstergo wants to find out where an artifact is, the last person to see it? Your ancestor Altair! Altair is an Assassin living during the Crusades. Sound interested?
Gameplay needs work
Game hasn't aged well
Altair is kinda dull ( And a Jerk )
This games only purpose nowadays is to make you appreciate the sequels more. but for what it's worth nowadays.... Go get it!
