This is basically like 6 episodes of CSI that last about 2 hours each. As a "game", it will not be something you can play for ages and ages and still be interested. You might put it away and come back to it every year or so, but I kind of wished I'd rented instead of bought it - however owning it does give you a more relaxed timetable with which to go through the stories. Getting good scores will also unlock special bonuses - and getting Master scores on all 6 will get you a special bonus too.
My favorite part of this game is the interactive movie feel to it. It doesn't take a university degree to get through it, and many people can watch and be entertained by the plots and evidence work.
My least favorite part of the game has to be that some things cannot be collected, examined, and/or used until you complete certain criteria. For example, in the Shootout story (last one) you cannot find key pieces of evidence until you talk to the mother and the "trips" thoroughly - back and forth. I worded it in such a way that it's not a spoiler, so sorry for using the word trips.
Keep at it and you'll find this is just easygoing entertainment. No stress, no crazy combos or rapid clicking and moving - so I'd say this is really awesome if you're disabled and find most Wii games to be a little too active.
But definitely not for when you feel like shooting or accumulating gold or customizing anything.
I loved it tho, being a fan of CSI and Forensics (it's a super basic forensic lesson)
