If you need added heating ability buy these instead of the 9 hour paraffin. Beeswax burns at a slightly higher temperature so these candles are a better choice if they are for your car emergency kit.

I melted these down and molded them into small blocks in an ice cube tray, wrapped and stored for future uses like maintaining bowstrings, waxing cordage and impregnating leather goods to stiffen and preserve them (knife shheths, etc.) and so many other uses. This is an inexpensive way to acquire a product that is overpriced in many of its other forms. I will be ordering more just for back up. In addition the candles - when used as candles burn a long time with a warm, yellow light that is quite pleasant. all in all it is a great product at a great value for your money
