Boy, having just watched this one I can honestly say it was top ten worst cards ever. It was maybe worse than ufc 9
While the SHerk vs Dunham fight was solid, and the Serra Lytle fight was a watchable but rather boring and pointless stand up battle, the other fighters rarely got it on at this show.

UFC 119 was a strange event which had former UFC heavyweight champion frank Mir facing off against Pride legend Mirko Cro Cop in a fight that would see the winner climb the rankings and this fight should have been all about Cro Cop's dangerous striking against Mir's dangerous Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu what we got was far from that maybe it was Cro cop taking the fight on short notice as Mir was originally supposed to fight Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira, but he had to pull out through injury.
In the co main event you have rising star Ryan Bader taking on big nog's brother Antônio Rogério Nogueira(small nog), this fight is far from spectacular, what really saves this event is former UFC Lightweight Champion Sean Sherk taking on rising star Evan Dunham. This fight is a back and forth war and still has people talking about it! we also get a stand up war between good friends Matt Serra and Chris Lytle. Also the undercard has a heavyweight war between Joey Beltran and The Ultimate Fighter contestant Matt Mitrione.
UFC 119 is not an essential purchase as the two main events are a let down, as with all UFC DVD's now there is loads of extras such as the countdown show which is always worth watching especially if you have not seen the event, watch that first. All the fights from the Preliminary card are included as well.
