This release harkens back to the days when The Wu sat upon the throne and quality hip-hop was on tv and on the radio.
I feel some of the wu's latest releases have felt over produced
and lacked the raw energy that made us love The Wu to begin with.
Though I doubt they will ever get back to the level they were
on in the 90's and part of it is they are trying to appeal to
a different generation. I never thought I would see a day where
the more ignorant and unpolished your lyrics are the more your albums you sell. But wu have not toned it down too much.
So the Wu remain one of the few mainstream artists I still enjoy.Though I will no longer head out to the mall to buy there cd's on the release date I still got love for em.
Long time wu fans will not be let down this is a quality cd
and the best wu release since GZA's Legend of the liquid sword.
Leatherface has impressed me since U-God's first album and I am glad to get more of this kid.
Go get it.

The art, the beats, the lyrics, everything about this album reeks of production straight from Ugodz' basement, and I couldn't be happier with it. Gully, grimey, and certainly not relying on guest stars for mainstream success, "Ugodz-Illa Presents: The Hillside Scramblers" harkens back to the days of Timbs and brass knuckles, not rims and Benjamins. A must buy for any true Wu fan.

It's fair to say that U-God was the worst member in the Wu Tang Clan..this album would have been alright if it was released in 1995 but it's 2004...and it's a just boring and tiresome, I don;t get how U God has had 2 very poor solo albums, yet Masta Killa hasnt had the one (yet). Avoid

U-God finally released some new work. The Hillside Scramblers consist of 11 members including U-God, Letha Face, and King Just.
DON'T LISTEN TO THE OTHER REVIEWS. THIS ALBUM SHOULD NOT BE SLEPT ON.
