I have been using TTouch for a while now with my dogs and it has made a big difference. When I purchased my first horse, he had issues and with TTouch, I have been able to gently retrain my horse to be a calm well behaved horse.

Linda Tellington Jones is a star in the world of horse training. Her co-author, Bobbie Lieberman was the editor for Equus Magazine for many years and between these two talented ladies they have the knowledge and writing skills to takle any problem a horse can throw at you. This book covers every detail the horse owner can ask for with excellent pictures and easy to follow instructions. A must-have on every horse owner's bookshelf

I just got my first horsey a couple of years ago and have been looking for a book that would help me with the basic stuff. This book does that. I'm not a subscriber to the airy-fairy school of horsemanship. I don't think it's necessary to try acting like a horse in order for Toga "The Wonder Horse" to understand me. Horses are smarter than that. They can tell if you really love them by the way you treat them and in my limited experience that's all you need as a foundation for a great relationship. Evidence of that is that there are soooooooooo many training methods and they all apparently and are the best. To me that means you don't need any of 'em. Call a horse your best friend and walk the walk and you're there. I really like this book for it's instruction but can pass on the t touch. Toga, and I, are super close. It's because I do many things with him that don't require him carrying me around. He knows it's his company that's important to me and not his back. We go for LOTS of walks with him just on a lead.

This is an incredible book. The depth of perception and wisdom in her relationships with horses, I found profound. In my experience we could all open ourselves much more by simply quieting the constant chatter of our critical, interpritive minds and by settling ourselves quietly internally and allowing the inner voice of our true, felt-sense whisperings to manifest more clearly while being with our incredible, gentle equine partners.

I have been looking for just the right thing to help me with my gelding so that we can move forward in our relationship. This book is perfect for him and for me.
I finally have a way of working with him that allows him to relax and realize his potential.
