1.0 out of 5 stars The ulimate most relaxing new age music in the universe, Jan 18 2011
This review is from: The Ultimate Most Relaxing New Age Music in the Universe (Audio CD)
This is not relaxing, nor is it new age and definitely not the ultimate. The title is completely wrong, it should be "Light instrumental elevator music". And yes I am going to try to get my money back.

5.0 out of 5 stars Music to soothe the savage beast!, April 12 2008
By DeepBlueSea - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Ultimate Most Relaxing New Age Music in the Universe (Audio CD)
Very relaxing and enjoyable collection of instrumental music. At low volume you can easily fall asleep to it, but is also great to listen to at louder volume when up and around the house. Good variety of instruments and beats. Not at all boring which some relaxation music can be. Well worth the money for 2 CD's full of interesting New Age type music.

I checked out the microphone drop sound in song 6 of the 1st disc just as the song was ending which a previous reviewer mentioned. It seems to me more likely a microphone was brushed against while recording. I can't see how it could be actually dropped and no one noticed.

I thought it was background thunder which is sometimes added to relaxation music, but now that I listened to it again after reading his review it's probably not thunder. No big deal though, it's not at all jarring. I'll just keep pretending it's thunder in the background during the few times that I actually would notice it. I have a whole set of relaxation albums (CD's) with thunder all throughout and love to listen to them as a "pick-me-up" :-)

4.0 out of 5 stars Relaxing music-Enjoyable, Aug 10 2009
By John Keating - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Ultimate Most Relaxing New Age Music in the Universe (Audio CD)
There is a flaw on this recording. "See, My Love" does, indeed, have a glitch at the very end - something is definitely amiss. Kiss a star goodbye! I think trashing the entire cd because of one "glitch" is a bit extreme! One star total - wow, that's harsh!

Most of the music is indeed relaxing, soothing and worth a listen. There is nothing spectacular here, but nothing offensive either. I believe the cd does what it was designed to do - soothe the soul. I have heard better new age compilations, but I am not sorry I purchased this.

It is music that doesn't intrude or force itself upon the listener - it simply allows one to be carried away.

A worthwhile purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really relaxing, Nov 7 2008
By Cassandra - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Ultimate Most Relaxing New Age Music in the Universe (Audio CD)
I bought this CD with other of the same kind (The most relaxing new age music in the Universe for the office.
My work environment is tense and busy. As soon people began to listen the music things went smooth and relax.
I try to play one hour or more daily to have a break and recharge our batteries. Sometimes I forget and people remind me to play the cds, so they really like them.
I recommend this product to people who want to connect themselves with the earth and good mood leaving bad thoughts back.
