Book Description

Flung through a wormhole while testing a new theory of space travel, John Crichton finds himself on a living ship crewed by escaped convicts, on the run from a variety of madmen and desperately trying to remain sane. Farscape takes an all-American hero, a pregnant spaceship, a bald blue woman, a chick with a gun, a guy with tentacles, and a puppet with silly eyebrows, and combines them with astounding production values to create a gritty, dark, funny, anarchic and shocking show. Originating in Australia but now the flagship show of America’s Sci-Fi channel, Farscape has gained many fans along the way – it’s viewing figures in the US have increased by over 40 per cent between season one and three. Adhering to Virgin’s successful programme-guide format, this is the unofficial and indispensable guide to one of the most original sci-fi shows of recent years.

From the Inside Flap

Unchartered Territory comprises an in-depth, unofficial episode-by-episode guide, including categories such as Buck Rogers Redux, Nosferatu in Rubber, Alien Encounters and Get Frelled. Covering all three seasons of the show, it also provides an indispensable look at the logic leaps, the spins the show puts on classic storylines, and behind-the-scenes information.

Whether you're a seasoned fan of this inspired and spectacular show, or a recent convert, Unchartered Territory is your essential guide to Crichton's adventures and the weird and wonderful characters he meets along the way.
