Samantha Harrison is headed for the worst Christmas ever, in P.J. Mellor's Escaping Christmas. Her boyfriend breaks up with her right after they have sex, confessing he's in love with someone else. He steals her dog Rhetta and sets off for Christmas, Texas to give both dog and diamond to Bambi Donner. Before Sam realizes it, she's checked into the Jingle Bell suite and wrestling in the mud with the hunky sheriff trying to arrest her for taking her dog back.
At first, Sam wants nothing more than to grab Rhetta and get out of Christmas. Until she learns the true meaning of handcuffs, and that being under house arrest can be fun when the right person holds the key.
The chemistry between Brett, the seventh grade science teacher cum lawman and dental hygienist Sam is hot, the
sex is steamy, Sam's curling iron is smoking. And their love story is oh, so sweet.
PJ's light humor is in full force, from her catchy writing, to quirky characters, and madcap situations under the backdrop of another beautiful Texas setting. The reader will smile all the way through this enjoyable, fast-paced tale, and hope they find someone just like Brett under their tree this year. Along with a pair of handcuffs.

"Naughty or Nice?" by Crystal Jordan. Dayna brings her sexually unsatisfying but nice fiancé Nathan home to meet the family. Her brother's best friend naughty Jake has other holiday plans for Dayna.
"Nativity Island" by Lorie O'Clare. Marine biologist Mercedes and author Jeremy meet on an island when the ship carrying her and her teammates has engine problems. Each is attracted to the other but she wants the real man not the novelist and he wants to believe she desires him not the famous bestselling author.
"Escaping Christmas" by P.J. Mellor. Her boyfriend dumps her taking her dog Rhetta with him. Banker Samantha follows him to Christmas, Texas to retrieve the canine, but soon finds herself handcuffed to sheriff Bret.
These are three heated Christmas romances that prove the holidays can turn excitingly erotic with the right coupling.
