Jack White is not your American Idol....thankfully!Jack refuses to be put in a box. He is a gifted musician if there ever was one. Setting up his stage each night to challenge himself and Meg with no set list is an example of the talent that goes beyond the music. With the exploration of the "Raconteurs" and "The Dead Weather" not to mention the numerous musical artists that Jack has explored music with should further allure any music connoisseur to want to watch the artistic journey of this artist and enjoy the ride with him. In his own right I believe we will look back 30 years from now and see another Zeppelin, Pink Floyd if I may, in its own light. This is music from the soul, not some computer program or a set of writers with verse and solo...This is a genius at work pushing the boundaries of traditional music, taking you out of your comfort zone. Get the Blu Ray turn the lights down and enjoy - this film truly covers the diverse talent in music that the White Stripes are. To often our views are tainted by the few songs that we here on the radio. Even if you have never owned a CD by the White Stripes or experienced much of their music, sit back and take in the rock, blues, folk, garage style that is all it's own and at the same time get a glimpse into the little know band and lives that are The White Stripes. And by the way...the video and audio is excellent - at least from a two channel perspective....

Not exactly what i was expecting,

As a Canadian fan of the White Stripes I was excited for this tour documentary, but was disappointed with the amount of live footage and the fact that for a few songs you hear but an exerpt. Still a Decent documentery at its core

I am a man that loves concerts if a band wants to make a documentary then it should be done on it's own.so I think I would have loved it if it was just a concert and no talking.
