Frantic Garage Rock at it's finest!!,

This is the real deal. Sweat pumping grinding garage rock turned up to frantic!! Jack bashes his guitar and howls like the devil's at his heels. Even the acoustic numbers are sped through as if Jack's gotta be somewhere else and quick!! Meg pounds away at the drums dutifully and punctuates Jacks madness as he pumps out gutterral blues soaked rock. Torn from the same cloth that Jimmy Page took a huge chunk from in his early days, Jack White soaks up and blasts out the same delta blues turned up to 11!! Jack makes Parton's Jolene his own as he caresses it with grunge soul and crys out like a cat on a pile of coals. This is a great representation of what their shows were like, you couldn't sit still watching and listening to Jack and Meg crashing and zooming around you. Great stuff!! Love it!!

Im a huge White Stripes/Jack White fan and im a cd/record collectorso i got this cause its limited ed. The cd cover art is red and black on the limited ed not black and white as shown up above the normal cd is black and white. DVD The dvd doesn't have any special features just the the movie Its about there tour in Canada not a live concert dvd but there are alot of live concert videos in the movie its all about them and there music but its just not a full live concert dvd. It has them mostly Jack (Meg doesn't talk all that much) talking about there music and how they never toured Canada before. CD its a great live cd but all the songs on the live cd isn't in the movie you don't see them preform all these songs in the movie if you do its just a clip but the live cd is great and the cover of Jolene is my fav on the cd. All in all i love it i just wish there were bonus features on the dvd. |
