Prescription Drugs for Canadians, For Dummies,
By Roxanne "Pharmacy Technician" (NS, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Understanding Prescription Drugs For Canadians For Dummies (Paperback)
I am a Pharmacy Technician in training in a retail Pharmacy. Even though I have worked as a Pharmacy CSA for about 3 years prior to this I still lacked knowledge of what Rx drugs were used for different conditions. Now when someone calls and says "I want a refill on my heart medication..." it is easier for me to know which med they need refilled. This Dummies book is easy to read, informative and very helpful for anyone and especially helpful for someone newly learning in a Pharmacy setting.

I love this book...I now understand a lot of things that I didn't before. I will always ask my pharmacist before buying something OTC.
