This should be taught at school Sept. 8 2012

The simple cover of the book does not do justice to what lies within. Jane Plant,a top scientist (her CV is on her website) talks in great detail about the probable causes of osteoporosis, how they are different than what you think, and what you can do to protect yourself. Like most people I grew up hearing about elderly people falling and breaking their hips and this always worried me. After reading this book you will be much better informed and equipped to take care of yourself. This book dovetails with other major books such as The China Study, Forks over Knives, Your Life in Your Hands (again by Jane Plant) and others. Don't miss it.

This is a very well researched and informational book. It's a must read for anybody who has been diagnosed with osteoporosis.
