Unexpected Gifts (A Castle Mountain Lodge Romance) [Kindle Edition]

I really loved this romantic novel. It is always wonderful to think that in real life this could happen just like the author is telling the story. I think it does actually sometime and that is what give us all hope for the main character as she tries to escape her real life for the Christmas vacation only to find love in all the right places.
I live in south Florida and loved the snowy scenes, making it feel like the Christmas season even though it was warm enough to turn on our air conditioning. The description of the resort made me feel in the mood. The cover pulled me in and the story didn't let me down.

This story is a delicious confection from start to finish, with a delightful pair of protagonists, and a wonderfully quirky cast of secondary characters. Add in one of the most spectacularly gorgeous settings - The Canadian Rockies in snowy winter - and the stage is set for a little bit of fairytale romance. There is outdoor ice skating and hot chocolate around a bonfire! There is a hot tub! There are Christmas trees and Santa and starry-eyed tykes. And there is love, or at least there is the very strong indication of True Love. I ripped through this story in less than a day, and wished it had gone on much longer.
